Shannon Young Earns Second Consecutive MWC Scholar-Athlete Award

Air Force tennis player Shannon Young has been selected to receive a 2009-10 Scholar-Athlete Award from the Mountain West Conference. The Air Force women's tennis team completed its best season in 11 years and first winning campaign since 2003 Thursday with a 4-0 loss to 33rd -ranked UNLV in the quarterfinals of the 2010 Mountain West Conference Championships in Las Vegas, Nev.
