USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force freshman Genevieve Miller was named Air Force Athletics co-Athlete of the Week for competition during the week of Dec. 2-8. Miller set three school records at the 2013 AT&T Winter National Championships, Dec. 5-7, in Knoxville, Tenn.
On Thursday, Dec. 5, Miller took 15th in the 500 yard free with time of 4:48.78. Her prelim time was 4:47.43, which set a new school record. On Saturday, Miller placed 14th in the 1650 free with a school record time of 16:23.09. In addition, her 1000 split of 9:54.25 was also a school record. Miller earned NCAA 'B' cuts in the 500 and 1650 free. All three record-breaking swims are currently the fastest times in the conference.
