Several Falcon Women's Swimmers Head to U.S. Winter Nationals

    USAF ACADEMY, Colo.- Several members of the Air Force women's swim team are slated to compete at the 2013 AT&T Winter National Championships, Dec. 5-7, in Knoxville, Tenn. Competition will take place at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center on the University of Tennessee campus.

    Six Falcons will take part in the three-day competition.

    Senior Sam Laughlin will swim the 100 meter backstroke on Friday, the 200 back on Saturday and possibly time trial the 100 freestyle Saturday. Junior Kim Davis will swim the 200 medley Thursday, the 400 IM Friday, the 200 breaststroke Saturday and possibly time trial the 200 free on Saturday.

    Sophomore Sara Menke and freshman Genevieve Miller will swim the 500 free on Thursday and the 1650 on Saturday.

    Freshman Kira Schlosberg will swim the 100 breast on Friday and time trial the 200 breast on Saturday. Freshman Asia Antoniuk will swim the 100 butterfly on Friday and time trial the 200 fly on Saturday.

    The heats are slated to begin at 9 a.m. (EST) each day and conclude with the finals at 5 p.m. For complete information, including live results, log onto USAswimming.org
