U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force women’s swimming and diving team will welcome in New Mexico and Nebraska-Omaha on Saturday, Oct. 14 for the Falcons home opener. The meet will take place at 10 a.m. inside Cadet Natatorium where admission is free.

The Falcons kicked their season off last week at the Intermountain Shootout in Grand Junction, Colo. At the meet, Air Force went 1-2 in a dual meet format, defeating Colorado Mesa but falling to Colorado State and BYU.

The Air Force relay teams had a good outing last weekend, as the 200 medley relay team of Kylie Stronko, Mollie Bushelman, Elise Hart and Lydia Knutson opened the meet with a first place finish and the 200 free relay team of Jinan Andrews, Hart, Winifred Chen and Knutson earned a first place finish as well. Andrews helped the Falcons all over the board, finished the meet with three third place finishes and a pair of fourth place finishes. Knutson also earned a first place finish in the 50 free while Hart took first in the 100 fly. Eve Fowler led the Falcon divers with a second place finish in the 1-meter and a third place finish in the 3-meter.
