Air Force Announces Incoming Women's Swimming Class of 2016

    USAF ACADEMY, Colo.- Air Force women’s swimming head coach Casey Converse announced today the seven members that will make up the Falcons’ class of 2016. The seven cadets arrived for Basic Cadet Training on Thursday, June 28, marking the beginning of the four-year journey to become officers in the United States Air Force. The new cadets will start academic classes on Thursday, Aug. 9.

    The Air Force rookie class features swimmers representing five states, including three from Texas. Two incoming Falcons, Melissa Leonhardt and Olivia Strom, have older brothers that are currently cadets at USAFA and swam for the Falcon men’s team.
