13 Falcons named Mountain West All-Academic

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Thirteen members of the Air Force women’s swimming and diving team were named to the 2016 spring Academic All-Mountain West team, as announced today by the league office.

 

To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.

 

Graduated seniors Sara Menke (3.64, operations research), Leah Weber (3.00, geospatial science) and Jessica Horn (3.55, mechanical engineering), rising seniors Emily D’Amato (3.07, behavioral science) and Genevieve Miller (3.37, economics), rising juniors Jinan Andrews (3.62, systems engineering) and Maria Schroeder (3.36, applied mathematics) and rising sophomores Georgia Sims (3.88, biochemistry), Madeline Hoff (3.70, foreign area studies), Jessica Chen (3.28, computer science), Kathy Lim (3.28, systems engineering), Baily Naigle (3.77, undeclared), Isabella Farrell (3.11, undeclared) were all honored for their work in the pool and in the class room.
