COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Eighteen student-athletes from Air Force's men's and women's swimming & diving teams earned Mountain West Conference Academic All-Conference honors announced today by the conference office. In addition, five swimmers earned MWC Scholar-Athlete Awards.

Ten student-athletes from the men's team earned academic all-conference honors. Seniors Andrew Bergman, Ryan Moss, Paul Parmenter and Matt Sievers earned their fourth all-conference honors. Senior Nick Uzelac and juniors T.J. Cowling and Spencer Liedl earned their third honor. Senior Brady Lindberg and sophomore Layne Wilson picked up his second honor and freshman Chris Morin earned his first academic all-conference honor.

Freshman Paul Gannett, Leidl and Sievers also earned MWC Scholar-Athlete awards.

Eight student-athletes from the women's team earned academic all-conference honors. Seniors Lauren Bursey, Lindsey Kirchoff and Blair Leake earned their fourth all-conference honors. Junior Amy Get earned her third honor and senior Stephanie Hirst, junior Kallyn Johnson and sophomores Jane Hwang and Roberta Nitzberg earned their second academic all-conference honor.

Johnson and Leake also earned MWC Scholar-Athlete awards.
