U.S AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Six members of the Air Force women’s swimming and diving team earn all-Mountain West Conference honors, as announced by the league office. The six all-conference selections are the most since 2003. It is the most since the league began honoring just one team starting in 2007.
Senior Jinan Andrews, who earned the Mountain West Senior Recognition Award, earned all-conference honors for the second time. Andrews earned all-MW honors in the 100 free, placing sixth with a finals time of 50.06. Later in the meet, Andrews broke the school record in the 100 free with (49.72), with her lead leg of the 400 free relay.
Senior Elise Hart earned all-MW honors in the 100 fly, the third time she has earned all-conference honors. Hart placed third with a time of 53.75, just shy of her own school record.
Junior Emma Strom earned all-conference honors in the 400 IM, placing seventh with a time of 4:22.25.
Sophomore Eve Fowler was named all-MW on the 3-meter springboard, placing eighth with 207.78 points.
Sophomore Lydia Knutson was named all-MW for the second straight season as she placed eighth in the 50 free with a time of 23.09.

At the Mountain West championships (Feb. 14-17), the Falcons set a school record for the most team points scored. Along the way, the Falcons set four school records, posted six NCAA cuts and had 36 swims that cracked the Academy’s all-time top 10.
