Falcon Swimming & Diving Concludes Home Schedule With Busy Weekend


    USAF ACADEMY, Colo. -- The Air Force men's and women's swimming & diving teams wrap-up the home portion of their schedule with a full slate of action this weekend at the Cadet Natatorium. The swim teams will host BYU and Utah in Mountain West Conference duals while the divers will compete in and host the AFA Diving Invitational.

    The Falcon men's (6-3-1, 1-1 MWC) and women's (7-7, 2-3) teams take on BYU this Thursday, Jan. 26, beginning at 5 p.m. Air Force then concludes its home season on Senior Day Saturday, Jan. 28 (1 p.m.), hosting Utah.

    Seniors Justin Hauffe and Matt Karmondy conclude their careers at home for the men's team, while Ginny Miller, Carly Omizo and Colleen Smith swim at the Cadet Natatorium for the final time in competition for the women's team.

    The Falcons also host the Air Force Diving Invitational this Friday-Saturday, Jan. 27-28. Nine schools will be competing at the invite, beginning at Noon on Friday and at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning. Along with Air Force, BYU, Colorado College, Colorado State, Denver, New Mexico, Northern Arizona, Utah and Wyoming are slated to participate in the diving invite.

    As always, admission is free to all Air Force swimming & diving events.
