Falcons Conclude Competition at All-American Long Course Championships

Austin, Texas - Members of the Air Force swimming team have wrapped up three days of action at the 2008 All-American Long Course Championships, being held at the Texas Swim Center.

Sophomore Sean O'Keefe (Lake Oswego, Ore.) competed in the men's 1500 freestyle, finishing fourth in the event with a mark of 16:16.90.

Freshman Benjamin Gunn (Gainesville, Ga.) and junior Kai Yamashiro (Kaneohe, Hawaii) each competed in the men's 200 backstroke, finishing seventh and eighth, respectively. Gunn also competed in the 200 butterfly, turning in a preliminary mark of 2:06.62.

Junior Bryan Avery (Mililani, Hawaii), who registered an Olympic Trial qualifying time in the 100 fly earlier this week, competed in the 100 free on Saturday, registering a mark of 53.36 in the preliminaries.

In addition, freshman Kaeli Kluesner (Denver, Colo.) competed in the women's 200 backstroke, clocking a time of 2:29.93 in the preliminaries.
