OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The Air Force women's swimming & diving team completed day two action at the 2012 Mountain West Swimming & Diving Championships at the Oklahoma City Community College Aquatic Center. The Falcons currently sit in eighth place with 79 points.

Freshman Kim Davis set a school record in the 200 yard individual medley. Her prelim time of 2:02.45 broke her own school record of 2:03.21 set earlier this season. Davis was the lone Falcon to swim in the championship finals of an event, placing eighth.

The Falcons also got school top 10 swims out of sophomore Erin Bleyl and senior Cassie Fletcher. Bleyl placed 19th in the 500 free with a time of 4:58.83, which is the sixth-fastest at AFA. Fletcher placed 18th in the 50 free with a time of 23.77, which is seventh-fastest in school history.

Air Force's top diver was freshman Lainie Long, who placed 20th in the 3m diving with 207.75 points.

The Falcons placed eighth in the 400 medley relay. The group of Samantha Laughlin, Davis, Haley Holcombe and Fletcher swam a season-best time of 3:49.21, which was .79 seconds off the school record.
