SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Three more school records fell for Air Force in day two action at the 2013 Mountain West Women's Swimming & Diving Championships Thursday night at the Palo Alto Aquatic Center. The Falcons have now set six school records total and currently sit in ninth place with 96 points.

Air Force set school records in the 400 medley relay, the 500 free and 200 individual medley.

Sophomore Kim Davis nearly won a title in the 200 IM, placing second with a school-record time. Her time of 1:59.15 broke her own school record by over three seconds and was also an NCAA `B' Cut Qualifying Standard time.

Air Force got a 10th place finish out of freshman Sara Menke in the 500 free. She broke the school record during the prelims with a time of 4:52.72 and then re-broke the record in the finals with a time of 4:49.70. The previous school record was 4:52.91, held by Jenna Tukey since 1996.

Air Force also broke its third relay record of the championships, placing sixth in the 400 medley relay. The group of junior Samantha Laughlin, freshman Leah Weber, senior Haley Holcombe and junior Hannah Cesare swam a record breaking time of 3:46.41, surpassing the previous mark of 3:48.42 set in 2011.

The Falcons had seven swims that cracked the school top 10 list. Air Force produced three of the four fastest 200 IM times in school history. Freshman Madelyn Huttner clocked the third fastest time at AFA with a time of 2:04.93 and senior Katrina Castellanos swam the fourth fastest school mark with a time of 2:06.14.

Junior Erin Bleyl also swam well for the Falcons in the 500 free, placing 19th with a time of 4:58.69, which is the seventh fastest mark at AFA.

In the 50 free, Cesare swam a time of 23.86, which is the eighth fastest in school history.
