    Day One Results Get Acrobat Reader

    OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The Air Force women's swimming & diving team completed day one action at the 2012 Mountain West Swimming & Diving Championships at the Oklahoma City Community College Aquatic Center. The Falcons currently sit in eighth place with 46 points.

    The Falcons opened the meet by placing eighth in the 200 medley relay. The group of Samantha Laughlin, Kim Davis, Gabby Aranda and Cassie Fletcher just missed the school record by .18 seconds with a season-best time of 1:45.89.

    Air Force took seventh in the 800 free. The group of Erin Bleyl, Davis, Katharine Ernst and Hannah Cesare swam a season-best time of 7:33.43, missing the school record by just .64 seconds.

    In the 1m diving prelims, freshman Lainie Long placed 23rd and sophomore Rachel Kennedy placed 24th for the Falcons.

    Boise State leads the competition with 108 points.

    Day two of the four-day meet resumes tomorrow.
