Air Force Wins Incarnate Word Invitational For Second-Straight Year

    Meet Results

    SAN ANTONIO, Texas- Air Force women’s swimming held off host school to win the Incarnate Word Invitational for the second-straight year. The Falcons out-scored Incarate Word 1146-1126 to win.

    Finishing third was Texas-Permian Basin with 543 points.

    The Falcons won six events on the day, led by senior Haley Holcombe and junior Samantha Laughlin, who combined to win four events.

    Holcombe won both the 100 and 200 yard butterfly events, while Laughlin won both the 100 and 200 backstroke events. Freshman Sara Menke won the 200 free and the 200 medley relay group also won.

    Air Force returns to action Saturday Feb. 2, hosting Colorado State.
