    Day One Results Get Acrobat Reader

    SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Air Force women's swimming completed a solid day one of action at the Incarnate Word January Invitational Friday at the Palo Alto College Aquatic Center. The Falcons took first or second place in all five events in day one action.

    Air Force got first-place swims in the 500 free, 200 individual medley and 400 medley relay. The Falcons were second in the 50 free and 200 free relay.

    Sophomore Erin Bleyl won the 500 free with her season-best time of 5:05.98. Freshman Clara Heffernan followed in second place with a time of 5:06.99.

    Freshman Kim Davis won the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.79. Sophomore Gabby Aranda placed third with a time of 2:12.85.

    Air Force closed the day by taking first and second in the 400 medley relay. Samantha Laughlin, Davis, Aranda and Cassie Fletcher won the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:58.26. Heather Ireland, Rosie Mayou, Haley Holcombe and Bleyl followed with a time of 4:00.13.

    The Falcons got a second place swim out of Fletcher in the 50 free, clocking in with a time of 24.34. Ireland followed in third place with a time of 24.68. Air Force also took second in the 200 free relay. Fletcher, Ireland, Laughlin and Hannah Cesare swam a time of 1:38.01.

    Day two of the meet resumes tomorrow.
