2014-15 (SOPHOMORE): Competed in 10 events this season… finished No. 1 in five of her events… set school records in 200 free (1:47.81/No. 1 Academy all-time), 500 free (4:42.47/No. 1 Academy all-time), 1000 free (9:47.09/No. 1 Academy all-time) and 1650 free (16:10.58/No. 1 Academy all-time)… set Mountain West Conference records in 500/1000/1650 free… set another school record as a member of 800 FR (7:15.60)… achieved personal bests in nine of her 10 events.


2013-14 (FRESHMAN): Phenomenal freshman season competing in seven events, setting six school records, four of which were individual events … Set Academy records in the 200 free (1:48.45) 500 free (4:44.19) 1000 free (9:49.86) 1650 free (16:19.17) as a freshman … set two school records in two relay events, 400 free relay (3:22.63) and the 800 free relay (7:17.34)


HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Lettered four years in swimming...NISCA All-American in the 500 free as a junior and senior and in the 200 free as a junior...three-time all-state and all-conference...also swam for Calvary Baptist Day School from eighth grade till sophomore year...CBDS record-holder in the 200 and 500 free...three-time team MVP at CBDS...National Honor Society member, Scholastic All-American and AP Scholar with distinction...high school swim coaches were Kip Keener and Jon Sakovich...swam club for TYDE/Bolles School Sharks, coached by Mary Young, Scott Dunn and Jon Sakovich...2012 Olympic Trials qualifier...USA Swimming top 10 rank.


PERSONAL: Member of cadet squadron 15...daughter of Fritz and Julia Miller...has two siblings that both graduated from service, Charlie, is a 2008 Naval Academy graduate...sister, Ginny, is a 2006 Air Force Academy grad. and four-year letter winner with the swim team...also has a cousin that plays volleyball for Berry College...hobbies are reading, playing soccer and watching movies...favorite movie is The Incredibles...favorite book is Ender’s Game...credits her former coaches Mary Young and Scott Dunn as having the biggest influence on her sports career...most noteworthy thing about her hometown is that Krispy Kreme originated there...enjoys listening to Keith Urban, Coldplay and Tenth Avenue North...favorite quote: “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” ~Winston Churchill.
