Colleen Murphy has been named Air Force women's swimming coach, announced today by head coach Casey Converse. Murphy comes to the Academy from Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix, Ariz., where she was the head coach. Murphy was also a three-time NCAA Div. II Coach of the Year during her tenure at Truman State.

Air Force women's swimming & diving announced its 2011-12 team award winners at the season-ending team award dinner. Freshman Kim Davis took home team MVP honors.

The Air Force swim team completed day three action at the Columbus Grand Prix Sunrday at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on the Ohio State University campus. Five Falcons competed in three different events in the final day of action.

Freshman Kimberly Davis qualified for the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials with her performance in the 200 meter breaststroke at the Columbus Grand Prix Saturday at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on the Ohio State University campus. Davis was one of eight Falcon men's and women's swimmers to compete in day two action.

Senior Cody Deacon qualified for the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials with his performance in the 100 meter breaststroke at the Columbus Grand Prix Friday at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on the Ohio State University campus. Deacon was one of five Falcon men's and women's swimmers to compete in day one action.
