 Falcons End Semester With Three Separate Events11/18/2009-W. Swimming The Air Force men's and women's swimming and diving teams will conclude the fall semester this week with three separate events. The men's swimmers will head to the Toshiba Classic, formerly known as the Nike Cup, Nov. 19-21 in Long Beach, Calif. The women's swimmers travel to Houston, Texas, for the Cougar Classic Fall Invitational, Nov. 20-22, while the diving team visits Tuscon, Ariz., Nov. 20-22, for the Arizona Diving Invitational. Swimming With the completion of the final two events, the Air Force men's and women's diving teams wrapped up competition at the Trojan Diving Invitational, hosted by USC. Teams that are expected to compete this weekend, in addition to the Falcons, are host USC, Cal, Cal State Bakersfield, Hawaii, San Jose State, Stanford and UCLA. Swimming Posting the top marks in 28 of 32 overall events, the Air Force men's and women's swimming teams each picked up a dual victory over the visiting Mavericks Friday evening at Cadet Natatorium. The Falcon men (1-1) defeated the Mavs, 162-95, while the Air Force women (2-4) registered a 157-128 victory. [+]Air Force Hosts Mesa State in Non-Conference Dual Meet10/28/2009-W. Swimming The Air Force men's and women's swimming and diving teams host a non-conference dual meet this week, Oct. 30, welcoming Mesa State to the Cadet Natatorium.
