Fighting To Get Into MW Championship
Playoff implications hang in the balance Thursday for Air Force. The Falcons are looking to get into one of six slots for the 2017 MW Women's Soccer Championships, held Oct.31-Nov. 4 in Las Vegas, Nev.

The Falcons currently sit in sixth place with 15 points, one point ahead of Utah State. The Falcons tied Utah State 0-0 in their head-to-head meeting.

Here are the scenarios for Air Force to make the MW Championship:
-Win vs. Colorado College.
-Tie vs. Colorado College and Utah State ties Boise State.
-Utah State loses to Boise State (AF in win or lose).

Here are the scenarios for Air Force to be eliminated:
-Loss vs. CC and Utah State win or Tie. (Utah State holds second tiebreaker of goal differential in MW contests).

- Air Force has never reached the MW Championship since the six-team format began. The Falcons last MW Championship appearance was in 2005.

Last Time Out
Air Force dropped a pair of road matches last weekend, falling 1-0 at Fresno State and 3-1 at San José State.

The Falcons gave up a goal in the 81st minute at Fresno State. The Falcons rallied to tie match up at 1-1 on a goal by Bree Bezdek in 61st minute, but SJSU scored two goals after for the win.
