    Air Force women's soccer fell to UNLV, 1-0, on Alumni Night at the Cadet Soccer Stadium Friday night. The loss dropped the Falcons to 5-4-3, 0-2, while the Rebels improved to 9-2-2, 1-0-1.

    Air Force women's soccer fell to Nevada, 1-0, Sunday morning at the Cadet Soccer Stadium. The loss dropped the Falcons to 5-6-3, 0-4, while the Wolfpack improved to 6-8-1, 2-2.

    Air Force Travels To UNLV and Nevada
    Air Force women's soccer travels to UNLV and Nevada this weekend. The Falcons take on UNLV on Friday, Oct. 25 and Nevada on Sunday, Oct. 27. Live stats will be available for both matches.

    Last Week
    Air Force is 0-2-1 in its last three games, played in a five-day span. The Falcons tied San José State 0-0 Friday before falling 2-1 in double overtime to Fresno State on Sunday. The Falcons also dropped a 2-0 match at Utah State Tuesday, in a rescheduled game due to a postponement from the government shutdown.

    Falcons Play Seven in 15 days
    Air Force women's soccer is midway through a stretch that sees the team play seven matches in 15 days to close out the regular season. The Falcons are making up two games postponed due to the government shutdown, playing them in the middle of the week, in addition to its weekend slate.

    Young Falcon Squad
    With a squad of 12 freshmen, Air Force has one of the youngest teams in the nation. The Falcons have started nine different freshmen this year. Air Force has started four freshmen in all but one game and started six vs. Utah State.

    Falcons Missing Several Starters
    Air Force may be without as many as three regular starters this weekend. Senior goalkeeper Kelly Stambaugh has missed the last two games due to sickness and is most likely out this weekend as well. Air Force also had two of its backfield starters in Loren Catchpole and Christy Cooper go down with injuries against Utah State. Catchpole a senior and team co-captain is out for the rest of the season. Cooper's status is to be determined.

    Greco Leads Team in Assists
    Freshman Ashley Greco has assisted on four of five Air Force goals so far this season. Her four assists are the third-most by a freshman in program history. It is the most assists by a frosh since 1998.

    Scouting UNLV
    UNLV is 7-8-2, 2-5 on the season after a 3-1 loss to San Diego State and 1-0 loss to New Mexico last weekend. Forward Jenn Wolfe leads the team with five goals and 14 points. Kylie Wassell has a 1.17 GAA in goal for the Rebels.

    Scouting Nevada
    Nevada is 4-9-3, 2-5 on the season after a 3-2 loss to New Mexico and 2-1 loss to San Diego State over the weekend. Midfielder Bobby Reilly leads the team with three goals and seven points. Kelsey Quintos has a 1.12 GAA in goal.

    The Coaches
    Larry Friend (USAFA 1985) is 24-53-11 in his fifth year as the head coach at Air Force.
    Michael Coll (Penn State 1997) is 19-12-3 in his second year at UNLV and is 36-42-6 in his fifth year as a head coach.
    Dr. Melissa Price (Maryland 1997) is 21-44-9 in her fourth year at Nevada.
