Air Force Travels To Utah State and Boise State
Air Force women's soccer hits the road for a pair of matches this weekend. The Falcons take on Utah State on Friday, Oct. 4 and Boise State on Sunday, Oct. 6. Live stats will be available for both matches. Video will be available for the Utah State and live radio will be available for the Boise State match.

Last Week
Air Force defeated Colorado State 2-1 in overtime last Friday. The Falcons scored the game-winner in the 96th minute for its first conference win since 2011. Freshman Kristina O'Sullivan scored the game winning goal with senior Kaleigh Moses assisting. Sophomore Cristy Cooper scored the first goal of the match in the 49th minute.

2013 Falcons
Air Force returns 13 letterwinners and six starters. The Falcons welcome 12 freshmen.

Team Captains
Senior midfielder Leah Bratt and senior defender Loren Catchpole are the team captains for the 2013 season.

Young Falcon Squad
With a squad of 12 freshmen, Air Force has one of the youngest teams in the nation. The Falcons have started seven different freshmen this year. Air Force has started four freshmen in seven of eight games.

Stambaugh Building Upon AF Records
Senior Kelly Stambaugh continues to build upon her lofty resume as goalkeeper at Air Force. A fourth-year starter, Stambaugh ranks amongst the top three in nearly every goalkeeping category at Air Force. She is currently the all-time leader in goals-against average (1.10). Stambaugh ranks second at the Academy in career shutouts (15) and third in wins (18), minutes (5,238) and saves (282).

Greco Leads Team in Assists
Freshman Ashley Greco has assisted on four of five Air Force goals so far this season. Her four assists are the third-most by a freshman in program history. It is the most assists by a frosh since 1998.

Scouting Utah State
Utah State is 5-4-2. 1-1 on the season after falling 2-0 at Nevada and winning 2-1 at UNLV over the weekend. Defender Taryn Rose leads the Aggies with three goals. Jeannie Woller has a 1.22 GAA in goal.

Scouting Boise State
Boise State is 6-4-2, 1-1 after falling 2-1 at UNLV and winning 1-0 at Nevada over the weekend. Midfielder Brooke Heideman leads the team with six goals and 13 points. Maddy McDevitt has a 0.78 GAA in goal.

The Coaches
Larry Friend (USAFA 1985) is 24-49-10 in his fifth year as the head coach at Air Force.
Heather Cairns (Canisius 1994) is 108-82-27 in her 11th year at Utah State.
Jim Thomas (Glamorgan Univ. (UK)) is in his first year as a head coach.
