Falcons Conclude Non-Conference Slate at UC Davis and Undefeated UC Riverside
Air Force women's soccer (3-6-0) looks to snap a four-game losing streak as they conclude its non-conference portion of the season and a seven game road swing with matches at UC Davis and UC Riverside. The Falcons take on the Aggies (3-6-0) on Friday at 4 p.m. and the Highlanders (9-0-0) on Sunday at noon.

    Recapping the Weekend
The Falcon offense could not get going again, as they lost a tight 1-0 battle at cross-town rival Colorado College. Air Force was held to seven shots in the game and just one on goal. The match was not a total loss for the Falcons, as Jennifer Rowland, AFA's eighth all-time leading scorer, made her season debut after recovering from off-season knee surgery.

    Road Tripping
The seven consecutive road games cannot come to an end soon enough for the Falcons. Air Force has struggled on the road, compiling a 1-4 record so far on the consecutive road streak and are 1-5 on the road overall. The Falcons are 2-1 at home.

    California Falcons
Five Falcons hail from California. Senior Jennifer Rowland (La Canada), sophomore Brittney Perkowski (Laguna Niguel) and freshmen Rhett Chase (Coronado), Jennifer Drew (Danville) and Megan Harkins (San Ramon) are all Golden State natives.

    Scouting The Opponents
UC Davis is 3-6-0 on the season. Last weekend, the Aggies lost 5-0 at Utah State and then rebounded to down Utah Valley State 4-2. Leading scorer for UCD is junior forward Lindsey Raymond, who has four goals and nine points. Junior Krystyn Lizak is the goalkeeper for the Aggies, with a 2.04 goals allowed average.

UC Riverside is undefeated with a 9-0-0 record so far. The Highlanders dominated their opposition over the weekend routing Centenary, 8-0, and Southern Utah, 3-0. Leading scorer for UCR is freshman forward Kacie McElrath, has six goals and 15 points on the season. Sophomore Tawny Poggio mans the net for the Highlanders and has allowed just one goal in 675 minutes this season for a 0.13 GAA.

    Who's Next
Air Force returns home for the first time since Sept. 5, to open Mountain West Conference play against Wyoming on Friday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. The Falcons then head right back on the road on Sunday, travelling to Albuquerque, N.M., to take on New Mexico at 1 p.m.
