Air Force Hosts Colgate and Plays Televised Match at Colorado
Air Force women's soccer plays host to Colgate this Friday, Sept. 14 and travels to Colorado Sunday, Sept. 16. The CU game will be televised live nationally on the Pac 12 Network.

2012 Falcons
Air Force returns 16 letterwinners and eight starters. The Falcons welcome 11 newcomers. Air Force returns three of its top four scorers from last season, including leading 2011 scorer in sophomore midfielder McKenna Fox.

2011 Recap
Air Force went 6-10-3 and finished fifth in the Mountain West Conference in 2011. The Falcons graduated four seniors, all starters.

Last Weekend
Air Force defeated Robert Morris 3-0 and Bryant University 1-0 last weekend. Stephanie Patterson netted a pair of goals and Bailee Harnett added a score in the win over RMU. McKenna Fox scored in the 38th minute to lift the Falcons to the win over Bryant.

400 Scoreless Minutes
The Falcons have not allowed a goal in their last 400 minutes of play, dating back to the two goals allowed against St. John's on Aug. 24. In fact, the Falcons have not allowed a goal in six of seven games all season.

Stambaugh Amongst NCAA Leaders
Air Force goalkeeper Kelly Stambaugh is ranked amongst the nation's Top 10 in a pair of categories. The junior is ninth in the nation with a 0.268 goals allowed average and fourth in saves percentage (.949). Stambaugh has allowed just two goals in 671 minutes, and has five shutouts on the season. Her 0.96 career GAA is the best ever at Air Force.

Senior defender Kim Koeppen and senior midfielder Sophia Lockerby are the team captains for the 2012 season.

Scouting The Opponents
Colgate is 5-3-1 on the season after a 3-1 win over Cornell and 3-1 loss to Harvard over the weekend. Forwards Jillian Kinter and Catherine Williams lead the team with six goals and four assists each. Ashley Walsh has a 2.01 GAA in goal.

Colorado is 4-1-2 on the season after a 4-1 loss to Denver and 2-1 win over Cincinnati. Forward Anne Stuller leads the team with six goals. Annie Brunner has a 1.10 GAA in goal.

The Coaches
- Larry Friend (USAFA 1985) is 21-35-8 in his fourth year as the head coach at Air Force.
- Kathy Brawn (Ramapo 1988) is 242-147-31 in her 12th year at Colgate.
- Danny Sanchez (UConn 1991) is in his first year at CU and is 267-60-23 in his 18th year as a head coach.
