Air Force Women's Soccer Drops 1-0 Match To Northern Colorado
The Air Force women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 match at home to Northern Colorado Friday at the Cadet Soccer Stadium. The loss dropped the Falcons to 3-2 on the season, while the Bears improved to 1-3-1.

Air Force Travels To Northern Colorado and hosts Grand Canyon
Air Force women’s soccer plays a road and home match this week. The Falcons travel to Northern Colorado on Friday, Sept. 6 and host Grand Canyon on Sunday, Sept. 8. Live stats will be available for both matches. Live video will be available for the Grand Canyon match.

Air Force to stream live video of all home matches
Air Force soccer will be streaming live video of all home matches, beginning with the Grand Canyon match Sunday. In partnership with the Mountain West Digital Network, all nine home Air Force women’s soccer matches will be available for free in HD quality video.

Last Week
Air Force dropped a 2-0 match at Colorado last Friday at Prentup Field in Boulder. The Buffaloes broke up a scoreless match with a goal in the 73rd minute. The second goal was scored four minutes later in the 77th. Senior Leah Bratt led the Falcons with three shots.

2013 Falcons
Air Force returns 13 letterwinners and six starters. The Falcons welcome 12 freshmen.

2012 Recap
Air Force went 5-9-3 and finished eighth in the Mountain West Conference in 2012.

Senior midfielder Leah Bratt and senior defender Loren Catchpole are the team captains for the 2013 season.

Stambaugh Building Upon AF Records
Senior Kelly Stambaugh continues to build upon her lofty resume as goalkeeper at Air Force. A fourth-year starter, Stambaugh ranks amongst the top three in nearly every goalkeeping category at Air Force. She is currently the all-time leader in goals-against average (1.09). Stambaugh ranks second at the Academy in career shutouts (14) and third in wins (17), minutes (4,769) and saves (256).

Scouting Northern Colorado
Northern Colorado is 1-3 on the season after defeating Nebraska-Omaha 4-0 and falling 4-1 at Creighton last weekend. Forward Essence Ortiz-Lanier leads the team with two goals. Senior Natalie D’Adamio has a 2.60 GAA in goal for the Bears.

Scouting Grand Canyon
Grand Canyon is 0-3 on the season after falling 1-0 at Valparaiso and 2-0 at IUPUI. The Antelopes have yet to score a goal this season. Goalkeeper Cat Lena has a 1.97 GAA.

Larry Friend (USAFA 1985) is 22-45-10 in his fifth year as the head coach at Air Force.
Tim Barrera (Virginia Tech 1986) is 124-119-22 in his 16th season at Northern Colorado and is 184-163-25 in his 21st year as a head coach.
Stevie Gill (Grand Canyon 2000) is 44-43-9 in his 5th year at Grand Canyon.
