Air Force Travels To Razorback Adidas Classic
The Air Force women's soccer team heads to Fayetteville, Ark., to take part in the Razorback Adidas Classic, Aug. 28-30. The Falcons take on tournament host Arkansas on Aug. 28th and then face Austin Peay on Aug. 30. Live stats will be available for both matches.

Last Week
Air Force opened the 2009 season with a pair of home games vs. Regis and UCCS. On Friday, Aug. 21, the Falcons dropped a 2-1 game to Regis. On Sunday, Aug. 23, the Falcons battled UCCS to a 0-0 tie.

Falcon Leaders
Sophomore Ashley Sikora leads the Falcons with the lone goal of the season. Senior Susan Finch had the assist on the goal. Freshman Charity Blanton has played all 200 minutes in front of the net for the Falcons, and has four saves on the season to go with a 0.90 goals-allowed average.

Team Captains
Seniors Susan Finch and Kelsey Yip are team captains for the 2009 season. Both are three-year letterwinners.

Scouting The Opponents
Arkansas enters the weekend with a 1-0 record after defeating Michigan 2-0. The Razorbacks return 16 letterwinners and seven starters off the 2008 team that went 11-8. Junior midfielder Kelly O'Connor is Arkansas' leading returning scorer with five goals and 12 points in 2008.
Austin Peay enters the weekend with a 0-1 record after falling to Lipscomb 1-0 last weekend. The Lady Govs return eight starters off the 2008 team that went 4-12-3. Sophomore forward Rian Barger is the teams' leading returning scorer, with four goals and nine points last year.

The Coaches
Larry Friend is in his first year as the head coach at Air Force. The 1985 USAFA grad. has 12 years of assistant coaching experience at the Academy. He is just the second women's soccer head coach at Air Force.

Erin Aubry is in her first year as head coach at Arkansas. The 1998 Northwestern grad is 29-39-9 in five years as a head coach.

Kelley Guth is in her eighth year as the head coach and has a 39-80-13 record. Guth is a 1996 grad. of Florida State.

Opponent Connections
Arkansas has one player from Colorado. Senior midfielder Kathleen Paulsen is a native of Littleton and attended Faith Christian Academy. Air Force players Anna Lowe and Kelsey Yip are also Littleton natives. Lowe and Paulsen are both products of the Real Colorado club soccer program.

Series History vs. Opponents
Air Force takes on both schools for the first-time ever.
