Air Force Women's Soccer Gears Up For Scrimmage At Colorado

    The Air Force Academy women’s soccer team prepares for the 2010 season with a scrimmage at Colorado this Sunday, Aug. 15. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. at Prentup Field in Boulder.

    After holding tryouts prior to the start of academic classes on Aug. 6, the Falcons made finals cuts and carry a strong roster of 22 players into the Fall season. Fifteen returners are joined by seven freshmen, and excitement is high as the team prepares for its scrimmage against the Buffalos.

    Air Force opens the regular season on Friday, Aug. 20, hosting CSU-Pueblo.
