Capt. Christin Brodie Joins Falcon Women's Soccer Coaching Staff

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Capt. Christin Brodie has been added to the Air Force Women's Soccer coaching staff, announced today by head coach Larry Friend. Brodie is a 2008 Academy graduate and was a four-year letterwinner with Falcon women's soccer.
Prior to assuming her current assistant coach position, Brodie was Officer in Charge of the Requirements Branch and Executive Officer for the Air Mobility Division of the 603d Air and Space Operations Center, Ramstein AB, Germany where she managed mobility aircraft for USEUCOM and USAFRICOM, consisting of over 28.5 million square miles.
Brodie graduated from the Air Force Academy in 2008. A four-year letterwinner as a defender with the Falcon women's soccer program, Brodie was the team captain as a senior and also voted Most Valuable Player. Brodie
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and a member of the Sting '86 club team, Brodie is a devoted athlete both on and off the field as a player and coach. She was twice selected as a member of the U.S. All Armed Forces Soccer team. While in Europe, she played for the FV Olympia team in the German Verbandsliga and was the head coach of the Ramstein American High School Girls JV Soccer team.
"I'm very happy to have Capt. Christin Brodie back with the AFA Women's soccer program," Friend said. "I had the honor of swearing her into the Air Force in 2008. Our former team captain will bring a lot of energy and passion to the team. Christin is excited to be on staff and we are excited for the soccer and academy knowledge she will provide for our players."
