USAF ACADEMY, Colo.- Air Force women’s soccer announced its team awards for the 2013-14 season. Senior midfielder/forward Kaleigh Moses led the way, earning the team’s MVP honor.
Moses started 17 of 18 games for the Falcons. She ranked third on the team with three points and was second with two assists. The senior led the team with 24 shots and 15 shots on goal.
Offensive MVP honors went to freshman forward Maddie Lundberg. Lundberg was second on the team with two goals and third with four poitns.
Defensive MVP honors went to junior defenser Kylie Williamson. It was Williamson’s second Defensive MVP honor, as she shared the honor in 2012.
Rookie of the Year honors went to freshman midfielder/defender Meredith Reisinger. Reisinger was one of just two Falcons to start all 18 matches.
Sophomore Katie Case earned Most Improved. Case appeared in 17 matches, recording one assist.
Most Inspirational went to senior midfielder Leah Bratt. A team co-captain, Bratt started 15 of 18 matches for the Falcons.
The Outstanding Contributor award went to Joe Corso, for outstanding contribution from a manager/practice player.
In addition, the team captain for the 2014 season was announced. Rising senior Kylie Williamson was named team captain for the upcoming season.
