Air Force Women's Soccer Places Eight On Academic All-Conference Team

    USAF Academy, Colo. - The Air Force women's soccer team placed eight student-athletes on the Mountain West Conference Academic All-Conference Team. Four Falcons were named Academic All-Conference for the third time.

    Seniors Sean Henry and Katherine Slogic and juniors Kimberly Hale and Roni Yadlin earned their third all-academic selections. Sophomore Kelsey Yip earned her second honor.

    Senior Rhett Chase and freshmen Lyndsey Horn and Sarah Horton earned their first honors.

    A total of 379 student-athletes were named to the fall 2007 Academic All-Mountain West Conference team. Fall sports include men's and women's cross country, football, women's soccer and women's volleyball. To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.

    BYU led the way with 74 student-athletes named to the team, followed by New Mexico (53), Utah (47), UNLV (43), TCU (42), Air Force (34) and Wyoming (34) and Colorado State (26) and San Diego State (26).
