Falcons Drop 1-0 Match In Double-Overtime At New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Air Force women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 match in double-overtime to New Mexico on Saturday night at the UNM Soccer Complex. The Falcons conclude the 2007 season with a 2-14-2 overall and 0-7-0 conference record. The Lobos improved to 7-5-4, 1-3-2.

Katie McKernan scored at the 104:56 mark for the game-winner for New Mexico.

Air Force hung tight, despite being out-shot 26-8 in the match. Sophomore Ashlee Curtis had seven saves in the loss for the Falcons. Junior Katherine Slogic led the Falcons with three shots on goal.

Four seniors, Christin Brodie, Rhett Chase, Sean Henry and Katherine Slogic, played in their final game as Air Force Falcons.
