Air Force Women's Soccer Drops 3-1 Match at Boise State Wednesday

    BOISE, Idaho - Air Force women's soccer dropped a 3-1 match at Boise State in Mountain West action Wednesday afternoon at the Boas Sports Complex. The loss dropped the Falcons to 2-13-2, 1-7-1 and improved the Broncos to 11-6-2, 6-3.

    After a scoreless first half, the two teams combined for four scores in the second. Boise State scored in the 50th and 52nd minutes to go up 2-0. The Falcons got on the board with a goal in the 67th minute. The Broncos added an insurance goal in the 89th minute.

    Gabby Garcia scored the first goal for Boise State and Kayla Tucker scored the second. Baylee Blaser scored the third. Brooke Heidemann assisted on the Broncos last two scores.

    Senior midfielder Kaleigh Moses scored the lone Falcon goal. Senior Kelly Stambaugh returned to goalkeeper after missing four games due to illness and had seven saves.

    Air Force closes out the season this Friday, Nov. 1, hosting Wyoming. Kickoff is 7:30 pm, following the men's game.
