Air Force Women's Soccer Drops 3-1 Contest at UNLV Friday

    LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Air Force women's soccer dropped 3-1 match at UNLV in Mountain West action Friday night at Peter Johann Memorial Stadium. The loss dropped the Falcons to 2-11-2, 1-5-1 and improved the Rebels to 8-8-2, 3-5.

    UNLV struck with a pair of early goals to jump ahead 2-0. The Rebels scored the first goal in the 12th minute and added a second in the 21st. The third goal was scored in the 80th minute.

    Dakota Blazak scored the first goal for UNLV. Susie Bernal scored the second. Addy Guida scored the third goal.

    Air Force scored its first goal against UNLV since the 2002 season. Senior Megan Dozier scored the goal, with sophomore Katie Case assisting.

    Senior Erin Rost had five saves in goal for the Falcons.

    Air Force returns to action Sunday, Oct. 27, at Nevada. Kickoff is 1 p.m. PST.
