USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force women's soccer dropped a 2-0 match to Fresno State Sunday afternoon at the Cadet Soccer Stadium. The loss drops the Falcons to 4-5 on the season, while the Bulldogs improved to 4-3-2.

Fresno State scored goals in the 15th and 86th minutes to pull away with the win. Lauren Lindstrom scored the first goal on a header off a corner kick from Molly Nizzoli. Morgan Castain scored the second goal, firing from the top of the box to the left corner of the net.

The Falcons had plenty of scoring looks, holding the shots advantage 17-14. As was the case Friday night, AFA could never fully finish.

Senior Bridgett Murphy led the Falcons with five shots, three on goal. Freshman Hannah Schwartz got the start at goalkeeper for AFA, recording four saves.

Air Force returns to action Friday, Sept. 23, taking on IUPUI in Valparaiso, Ind.
