Sophomore (2007): Appeared in and started six matches..started five of seven conference matches...allowed 13 goals in 563 minutes for a 2.08 goals allowed average...led team with 37 saves...had a career-best 10 saves against San Diego State.

Freshman (2006): Appeared in two matches, starting one...started against St. Mary's and earned the win in a 2-1 victory...logged 99 minutes and 45 second, allowing one goal for a 0.90 GAA.

High School (Madison Central): Lettered four years in soccer and two years in basketball...all-state as a junior and senior...Clarion Ledger All-State and Player of the captain...led Madison Central to state title as a junior...all-county in basketball...president of Fellowship of Christian Athletes ...state representative for the March of Dimes ...played for state Olympic Developmental Program select team, coached by David Johnson...played club soccer for Mississippi United...high school soccer coach was Mike Curley.

Personal: Born Nov. 4, 1987, in Richmond, Ky. ...major is foreign area studies with a minor in Russian...completed Global Engagement and Space Operations this past summer...also completed Operations Air Force at Kirtland AFB, N.M. ...has two siblings, Alayne (15) and Austyn (6)...favorite TV show is Grey's Anatomy...something most people don't know about her is that she is a book worm...credits her parents as having the biggest influence on her sports career...daughter of Bob and Denise Curtis.

Advice to young people: Never settle for anything less than your best.

What I like most about AFA women's soccer is: the friends I have on the team.

Who's had the biggest influence on your sports career and/or life and why: Well I would I have to say my parents for sure but every athlete you come into contact with affects you whether in a good way or bad.

Most noteworthy thing(s) about your hometown: Its one of the top 5 places in the US to raise kids.

Why is soccer your sport?: Get to see your friends everyday for no reason.

Best personal moment in soccer: Kind of corny and very movie like but saving the final PK shot that sent our team to regionals.

What do you enjoy doing away from soccer?: Camping, hiking, biking, stuff outdoors, reading.

Favorite Athlete and why? Richard Hoyt- triathlete who pulls his parapalygic son along the entire course with him.

Favorite non-traditional sporting event to watch on TV? Ping-pong.

Career/Life aspirations after school : Intelligence or helicopter pilot.
