Sophomore (2005): Appeared in 20 matches, starting 13...named team defensive MVP...started all seven MWC games...named defensive MVP of Air Force Invitational...tied for team lead with two assists...recorded assists against San Diego State and TCU.

Freshman (2004): Appeared in four games...played against Utah, San Diego State (twice) and UNLV.

High School (Coronado): Four-year soccer letterwinner...first-team California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) as a freshman and senior, helping guide Coronado to CIF Championships...all-Western League all four years...team captain as a junior and senior...three-year letterwinner in cross country and lettered one year in swimming...four-time all-Harbor league selection in cross country...ran in junior nationals as a freshman...four-time Islander Awards recipient...four-time Union-Tribune academic award winner.

Personal: Member of cadet squadron 16, the Chicken Hawks...birthdate is March 13, 1986... played club soccer for RSF Attack...major is management with a minor in spanish...took a spanish immersion course this past summer, living in Cuernavaca, Mexico for four weeks...active in her squadron as the safety and security officer...enjoys surfing when away from soccer...favorite TV show is Dog the Bounty Hunter...credits her parents as having the biggest influence on her sports career... daughter of Michael and Leslie Chase.

Something not many people know about you: I was a competitive swimmer for 10 years.

Advice to young people: It's all about living and loving, don't lose sight of that.

What I like most about AFA women's soccer is: The team takes care of each other.

Who's had the biggest influence on your sports career and/or life and why: My parents, because they encouraged me to follow my dreams and have always been there for me.

Most noteworthy thing(s) about your hometown: It used to be an island before a man-made peninsula was added.

Why is soccer your sport?: Anything can happen on any given day with any given team.

Best personal moment in soccer: Winning the CIF championship my senior year of high school.

What do you enjoy doing away from soccer?: Surfing (when I'm not landlocked).

Favorite Athlete and why?: Kelly Slater - most amazing surfer in history and came from the small Florida waves.

Favorite non-traditional sporting event to watch on TV?: snowboarding

Career/Life aspirations after school: My AFSC is Contracting. I am currently applying for the GSP (grad school scholarship via USAFA) in hopes to spend my first year out of the Academy getting my MBA.
