Lewis and Rogers Receive Academic Recognition

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Two members of the 2008 Air Force women's gymnastics received All-Academic Team distinction, the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W) announced this morning (Aug. 7). Current senior Abigail Rogers and 2008 graduate Kelly Lewis were honored for their success in the classroom.

Both gymnastics were academic all-conference selections with the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. Rogers posted a 3.90 in behavioral sciences, while Lewis graduated with a 3.86 GPA in social sciences.

To be honored by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women, individuals must achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher during the academic year.
