Falcons Add Four to Women's Gymnastics Roster

    USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force women's gymnastics head coach Doug Day recently announced the addition of four gymnasts to his roster for the upcoming season. The newcomers, members of the Class of the 2018, reported to the Academy late last month to begin Basic Cadet Training.

    Chelsea Grimison - Orlando, Fla. (Brandy Johnson's Global Gymnastics)
    Jamie Lewis - Dallas, Texas (Metroplex Gymnastics)
    Julia Sebben - Monroe, Conn. (Next Dimension Gymnastics)

    The Academy's Basic Cadet Training, which begin on June 26, is divided into two phases. The first session takes place in the Cadet Area and focuses on military orientation, which includes basic military skills and responsibilities, while improving physical conditioning and understanding teamwork through competitive sports. During the second phase, the Basics will march out to Jack's Valley, where they will focus on field training activities, while developing their mental and physical confidence training.
