DENTON, Texas -- Seven members of the Air Force women's gymnastics team were honored with USAG All-America honors at the conclusion of the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Nationals, which were held over the April 13-15 weekend in Denton, Texas. The Falcons, who combined for nine first-team accolades, received the awards based on their individual placements in the qualifying session on April 13.
Freshman Tyler Davis, who paced the Falcons with first-team distinction on the vault, floor exercise and all-around, became the first Falcon in three years to garner multiple USAG All-America awards in a single meet. In addition, her three honors in 2018 are tied for the second-most in Air Force's USAG tenure. Davis was joined on the vault's USAG All-America list by senior Jamie Lewis, while Air Force also collected multiple award winners on the uneven bars (freshman Jessica Kirkpatrick, junior Mariana Murphy, sophomore Anna Salamone) and balance beam (junior Analise Howard, junior Emily Luers).
The seven USAG All-Americans are the most for an Air Force squad since 2014.
