Women's Gymnastics Outlasts Alaska-Anchorage
The Air Force Academy women's gymnastics team defeated Alaska-Anchorage, 190.400-182.575, in their first day of dual meet action Friday evening at Anchorage.
C3C (So.) Kimberly Broughton had some outstanding performances, placing first in both the all-around (38.075), on the uneven parallel bars (9.750) and taking third on the floor exercise (9.750). C1C (Sr.) Kristi Delcour also had an amazing evening, placing first on balance beam (9.650), tying for first on the floor exercise with C4C (Fr.) Erin Maguire (9.800), tying for second in the all-around (37.925), and taking third on the uneven parallel bars (9.625).
Overall, the Falcons did extremely well, giving them plenty of momentum going into their second day of competition at Alaska-Anchorage, this evening at 7 p.m.
