WOODLAND, Calif. - Air Force junior Linnaea Hance was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Gymnast of the Week, the league office announced late Tuesday (Feb. 26). It is the third career honor from the MPSF for the Bend, Ore., native.

The junior scored a career-best 9.850 on the uneven bars to tie for first during the TWU Quadrangular last Sunday (Feb. 24). She also tallied a personal-best 9.675 on the vault and a season-high score of 38.725 in the all-around. In addition to her win on the bars, Hance finished third in the all-around and seventh on the balance beam (9.650, seventh).

Hance is the fourth Air Force gymnast to earn the league's weekly honor this season, joining Jen Larsen (Jan. 15), Jessica Hanner (Feb. 5) and Jessica Wallander (Feb. 12). Air Force returns to the Academy this Saturday (March 2), when they host conference foe Seattle Pacific at Cadet West Gym.
