What is one thing that you just can’t live without? My brothers.
If you had $1,000,000, what would you do? I would travel all over the world.
What is the most interesting place you have traveled to? Mallorca, Spain
What is your favorite drink at Starbucks? Vanilla Chai Latte
Who should play you in your life story? Reese Witherspoon
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? Rainbow Sherbet
What is your favorite song for karaoke? Jesus Take the Wheel by Carrie Underwood because I can belt it out!
What is something that you are afraid? Spiders and poky things
What was the first CD you ever bought? N’Sync
What was your first job? Teaching gymnastics
If you could be on any TV show, what would it be? Wipe Out
How many hours of sleep do you need (and now … how many do you get?) I need like 8 and I get around 6
What sports teams do you follow? Giants Baseball
What do you want to do after graduation? I want to be an international doctor in Europe or do something with foreign relations.
What era would you most like to travel to? I would like to travel to the 80s with the big hair and colorful outfits.
What is one thing about your hometown that you miss? Mary’s Pizza Shack.
What is your favorite movie of all-time? Parent Trap
What is a secret talent that few people know you have? I have knack for drawing.
Where is your favorite place to relax? The gym, porta pits and sting mats are amazing beds.
How did you get started in gymnastics? Took a gym class in Germany.
What challenge do you find in gymnastics that you don’t find in any other sport? The mental challenges, it’s a sport that relies heavily on mental strength more than any other sport.
What do you like best about gymnastics? It’s not monotonous, you are always learning new things.
What is your favorite sport besides gymnastics? To play probably soccer.
Do you have any pre-meet rituals? Not much I just plug in my iPod and get in the zone.
What is your advice for young gymnasts? Don’t be afraid to try new things and always set high goals for yourself – if you want it you can get it.
Describe your personality in two words: Loud, blonde
Who are the biggest influences in your life and why? My family, the guide me in many of my decisions.
How do you balance your athletics, academics and military duties? Organization, my planner is color coded and completely filled out. Not to mention lack of sleep.
What is your favorite class? German
What were your first thoughts of the Academy? What am I getting myself into.
Who are your biggest fans? My friends, family, and teammates.
What was your most memorable “welcome to college” moment? When I accidently called my male Squad Commander a Ma’am; he was yelling so loud and was so close to my face I could feel spit flying out of his mouth. Welcome to the Academy I think is what he was saying J
