Each week during the 2014 season, GoAirForceFalcons.com will feature a member of the Air Force women's gymnastics team. This week, the spotlight is on junior Kim McRobbie. One of three Texans on the Air Force squad, the Rowlett native is a biology/pre-med major.
How did you get started in gymnastics?
My parents put me in classes when I was 4.
Who are your biggest fans?
What challenge do you find in gymnastics that you don't find in any other sport?
The mental challenge.
What do you like best about gymnastics?
The people that I have gotten to meet.
What is your favorite event and why?
Vault, because it's the quickest!

Definitely when we went to Arizona for Recognition.
What drew you to the Air Force women's gymnastics team?
The girls on the team.
What are you most excited about for the upcoming season?
Just getting to spend time with all the girls.

Who are the biggest influences in your life and why?
My siblings because they always support me.
How do you balance your athletics, academics and military duties?
Lots of caffeine!

Sam Gagliano and Lainie Long
What is your favorite class?
All the bio classes
What is your favorite place on the Academy grounds?
Down in the gym where we can escape all the stuff that goes on up on the hill.
What were your first thoughts of the Academy?
"Why is everyone matching?"
What is your favorite thing about USAFA?
The opportunities it gives us.
What has been the hardest thing about the Academy?
Definitely time management.

Go to medical school.
