Illinois State Edges Falcons In Women's Gymnastics
    Air Force drops first meet of 2002 season

    Illinois State University edged the Air Force women's gymnastics team Friday evening in its first loss of the season. The Falcons lost the team competition 193.975 - 193.500.

    C2C (Jr.) Kimberly Broughton took first on bars (9.850). C2C Allison Todd tied for second (9.825), followed by C2C Jennifer Dougherty (9.800) at third. Todd managed to secure three additional second-place finishes on floor (9.775), all around (39.100), and on vault (9.750). Dougherty tied with Todd on floor (9.775) and followed in the all-around (38.800). C1C (Sr.) Bethany Stott placed second on beam scoring a 9.825.

    The Air Force women's gymnastics team will be back in action Sunday, Feb. 17 in Denton, TX in a dual meet with Texas Woman's Univ.
