Rogers and Dudley Wrap Up Competition at Regional Meet

    IOWA CITY, Iowa - Freshman Jenna Dudley and senior Abbey Rogers of the Air Force women's gymnastics team wrapped up all-around competition at the 2009 NCAA North Central Regional Championships on Saturday, April 4, in Iowa City, Iowa. Dudley and Rogers finished 17th and 19th, respectively, in the regional meet.

    Dudley tallied a combined score of 38.500 to finish 17th in the all-around standings. Contributing to her total was a 9.650 on the vault, 9.600 on the uneven bars, 9.525 on the balance beam and a 9.725 on the floor exercise.

    Rogers placed 19th with a all-around total of 37.875. She scored a 9.650 on the vault, 9.150 on the uneven bars, 9.275 on the balance beam and 9.800 on the floor exercise. Her floor score, just .025 shy of her season high, tied for 18th on that event.

    The Falcons return to action April 9-11, when they travel to New Haven, Conn., for the 2009 USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championships.
