Brittany Dutton Concludes Competition at NCAA Regionals

DENVER, Colo. - With an all-around score of 36.725, Air Force senior gymnast Brittany Dutton wrapped up competition at the 2011 NCAA Regional Championships on Saturday, April 2. Air Force's lone representative at the Denver Regional, Dutton placed 16th in the four-event competition at Magness Arena.
Dutton's best individual placement of the night came on the vault, where she tied for 37th with a score of 9.650. That score is just 0.050 off of her season high. She finished 38th on both the uneven bars (9.600) and floor exercise (9.475), while rounding out the competition with a 42nd-place finish on the balance beam (8.000).
The Falcons return to team competition on Friday, April 8, when they host the 2011 USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championships at the Academy's Cadet West Gym. Air Force will participate in the second session of preliminary competition, which is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
