Falcons Set to Open 2013 Season at Denver

Air Force will face the Pioneers at 6 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 12.

SENIOR YEAR | 2016: Team co-captain.

JUNIOR YEAR | 2015: Did not compete in any team competitions while recovering from injury...named to the USAG All-Academic Team.

SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2014: Received the team's Hardest Worker award...competed on the balance beam in 13 of 14 team competitions...scored a career-best 9.825 at New Hampshire...reached the 9.700 mark in seven additional meets...alternate on the balance beam at the NCAA Regional Championships...also competed on the floor exercise during 12 meets...scored a personal-best 9.800 twice...that score was tied for third on the team in 2014...first tallied that a 9.800 against 10th-ranked Auburn...matched that score in the regular-season finale with #21 Arizona to help the Falcons to their highest team score in seven years...participated on the uneven bars in the Falcons' home opener with Utah State and Seattle Pacific, scoring a 9.50...named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Newcomer of the Week on Feb. 3...named to the USAG All-Academic Team...academic all-conference selection.

FRESHMAN YEAR | 2013: Did not compete in any team competitions while recovering from injury.

HIGH SCHOOL | CLUB TEAM: Maple Grove Senior High School...graduated with a 3.99 grade-point-average...named to the "A" Honor Roll all four years...member of the National Honor Society...member of the school choir...competed at the club level for Twin City Twisters...coached by Mike Hunger and Sami Wozney...placed eighth on the balance beam at nationals...2012 national qualifier...2011 NIT qualifier.

PERSONAL: Majoring in operations research...future plans include becoming a space officer...served as Executive Officer, First Sergeant and Honor Officer...named to the Superintendent's List for excellence in military, academic and athletic performance (Fall 2013, Fall 2014, Spring 2015)...also named to the Dean's List and Athletic Director's List...hobbies include hiking, baking and reading...favorite event is the balance beam, because "I love the concentration, poise and attitude it involves. It is a challenging event and I love to conquer it"...completed summer research at the Institute for Defense Analyses in Washington D.C. over the summer...member of Cadet Squadron 19.
