    Lindsay Ebel, Linnaea Hance Earn USAG Accolades

    Ebel was honored with the Mari-Rae Sopper Spirit Award and Hance was named the Outstanding Senior Gymnast.

    SOPHOMORE | 2013: Did not compete for the women's gymnastics team...spent the year as a member of the Air Force cheerleading team.

    FRESHMAN | 2012: Competed in five meets, including four as a member of the uneven bars rotation...scored a career-best 9.625 on that event during the Falcons' victory over UC-Davis...also broke the 9.550-mark the following week at Rutgers...competed on the balance beam at the USAG Championships (Team Qualifier), scoring a 9.100.

    HIGH SCHOOL | CLUB TEAM: Mountain Vista High School...lettered in academics...competed at the club level for Adrenaline Gymnastics and Colorado Aerials...coached by Aaron Gallegos, Kathy Vighil and Jason Bates...two-time Level 10 national qualifier (2007, 2008)...elite qualifier in 2006.

    PERSONAL: Full name is Lindsay Ashley Ebel...nickname is "Ebs"...daughter of Wayne and Deanna Ebel...has one older brother, Jared, and one younger brother, Ryan...majoring in management...served as a Coach for sophomores...attended the Academy's Prep School...received athletic excellence ropes all four quarters and at the end of the year...also received military excellence ropes for two semesters...named the top female athlete for the Class of 2011...competed in club gymnastics while at the prep school...enjoys puzzles and being outside in the sun...favorite quote is "The elevator to success is out of order, you will have to take the stairs - one step at a time"...favorite event is the uneven bars, because "it's all about swinging and having fun!
