Air Force junior Linnaea Hance was named the MVP of the 2013 women's gymnastics team, the coaching staff announced over the weekend at the team's annual post-season awards banquet. It is the second straight year that Hance has been awarded the program's top honor.

Air Force sophomore gymnast Alexandra Sytch was named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Team, the commissioner's office announced on Friday, April 26, from its office in Woodland, Calif. It is the first such honor for the North Oaks, Minn., native.

The Air Force women's gymnastics team closes out the 2013 season this weekend with the USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championships in Shreveport, La. The meet, which will run from Friday, April 12, to Sunday, April 14, will be held at the Gold Dome on the campus of Centenary College of Louisiana.
