Falcons Come Together For a Cause

The members of the Air Force gymnastics program are used to competing in the gym, but on Sunday, Oct. 4, the Falcons came together to compete on a bigger challenge. Nelle Barriteau Joins Women's Gymnastics Coaching Staff

Air Force women's gymnastics coach Doug Day announced the hiring of Nelle Barriteau as an assistant coach. Barriteau, a former Falcon gymnast who previously spent the 2007-08 seasons as the team's military assistant, will begin her duties today (Oct. 1) as a full-time civilian coach. [+]

Women's Gymnastics Announce Exciting 2010 Schedule

The Air Force women's gymnastics team and head coach Doug Day released the 2010 schedule this afternoon (Aug. 24). Over the four-month season, the Falcons will compete in six meets within the state of Colorado, including four at the Academy's Cadet West Gym. [+]

Abbey Rogers Named MWC Female Student-Athlete of the Year

Recently graduated Air Force gymnast Abbey Rogers was named the Mountain West Conference Female Student-Athlete of the Year, the commissioner's office announced this morning (July 14). She is the fifth Academy cadet to earn the league's highest honor. Rogers was joined by BYU football player, Kellen Fowler, who earned the 2009 MWC Male Student-Athlete of the Year award. [+]

Abbey Rogers Named MWC Scholar-Athlete

Recently graduated Air Force gymnastics Abbey Rogers was named a Mountain West Conference Scholar-Athlete, the league announced this afternoon (June 24). Rogers, a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., posted a 3.76 GPA in behavioral sciences. It is the third straight year that Rogers has been honored by the MWC. [+]

Abbey Rogers Earns Academic All-District Honors

Senior Air Force gymnast Abbey Rogers was one of five Air Force athletes to earn 2009 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District honors at the university at-large division, CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) announced this afternoon (May 21). It is the second consecutive year that Rogers has earned first-team status. [+]
