After nearly a year of construction, the renovation to Cadet West Gym - the 25,000-square foot home of the Air Force men's and women's gymnastics teams - is nearing completion as one of the nation's premiere facilities.
The Cadet West Gym - home of the Air Force men's and women's gymnastics teams - is continuing to evolve, as on-going renovations are transforming the venue into one of the nation's marquee gymnastics facilities.
Backed by four home meets in the newly renovated Cadet West Gym, the Air Force women's gymnastics team and head coach Doug Day announced the 2015 schedule this afternoon. The Falcons' upcoming slate features 10 regular-season competitions and three additional meets during the championship season.
Two members of the Air Force women's gymnastics team earned academic recognition this afternoon (Aug. 19) for their success in the classroom during the 2014 season, as the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W) named its Scholastic All-American Team.
As a part of the overall upgrade of the Cadet Gymnasium, renovations continue at the Cadet West Gym - home of the Air Force men's and women's gymnastics teams. When completed, the Falcons will have over 25,000-square feet of training space in one facility.
