Air Force Game Notes 
The Air Force women's basketball team returns to action on Friday, Dec. 30, with its final non-conference road game of the season, visiting Alabama in a 6:30 p.m. (CT) contest.
LAST TIME OUT...
Air Force scored just four field goals in the second half, as it dropped a 95-59 road decision to Pacific on Dec. 21. Sophomore Megan O'Neil was the lone Falcon to score in double figures, finishing with 13 points.
SCOUTING THE FALCONS...
Air Force enters this week's game with a 4-8 overall record, including a 3-5 mark in road contests.
Junior Alicia Leipprandt is the Falcons' leading scorer on the season, averaging 16.1 points per game, while classmate Dymond James, who is currently out with an injury, is also averaging in double figures scoring with 11.3 points per contest. James is also the team's leading rebounder with 7.1 boards per game.
SCOUTING THE CRIMSON TIDE...
Alabama enters this week's game with a 9-4 overall record, including a 6-0 mark at home. The Crimson Tide was last in action on Dec. 19, earning a 65-47 victory over Presbyterian.
Jasmine Robinson leads the Crimson Tide with 13.5 points per game, while Ericka Russell (11.0) and Meghan Perkins (10.3) are also averaging in double figures scoring. Erin Hogue is the team's leading rebounder, averaging 7.4 rebounds per contest.
HOW WE RATE...
In the latest conference statistics, Air Force leads the Mountain West in steals per game (9.5), ranks second in free throw percentage (.728), and is third in three-point field goal percentage defense (.294), rebounding offense (40.8), offensive rebounds (14.3) and defensive rebounds (26.4).
ROAD WARRIORS...
This week, the Falcons play their final road non-conference contest of the season. Air Force has already spent much of its non-conference slate on the road, with nine contests away from home in the first two months of the season and just four games in Clune Arena.
After Friday's contest, Air Force will have played in a total of seven states (Tennessee, Colorado, Texas, Maryland, Minnesota, California and Alabama) and four time zones in the months of November and December. The Falcons will wrap up their non-conference schedule with a pair of home games Jan. 5 and Jan. 7.
HIGH-SCORING OPPONENT...
Air Force suffered its worst loss of the season on versus Pacific, dropping a 95-59 decision. Pacific's 95 points were the most scored against the Falcons since Wyoming scored 98 points in January 2010.
The Tigers also shot 53 percent from the field versus the Falcons, marking the highest field goal percentage for an Air Force opponent this season.
KAMI STEPS UP...
Sophomore Kami Bohannon has posted career-best marks in the Falcons' past two games, scoring a personal-best eight points in each contest. Bohannon also grabbed a career-high five rebounds versus San Jose State, while dishing out a career-high three assists against Pacific.
INJURY BUG...
After losing starting point guard Cherae Medina early in the season due to a knee injury, the Falcons are now playing without starting forwards Dymond James and Katie Hilbig. Hilbig was injured in the Falcons' loss at Minnesota, while James was hurt in a practice prior to the San Jose State game.
Without James and Hilbig in the lineup, the Falcons are playing without two of their top three scorers and rebounders. However, both players are expected to return in January, while Medina is anticipating a January return as well.

The Falcons return to Colorado for their first home game in over a month, as they host North Dakota in a non-conference contest on Thursday, Jan. 5, at 7:00 p.m.
