The Air Force women's basketball team returns to action this Saturday, Dec. 8, with a non-conference road contest versus in-state foe Denver at 1:00 p.m.

Last Meeting: Air Force and last met on Nov. 17, 2011, at the Academy, with the Pioneers edging out the Falcons in a 54-52 victory.
LAST TIME OUT...
The Falcons fell to North Dakota, 76-42, in a non-conference road game on Tuesday night. Sophomore Simonne Potts was the lone Air Force player to score in double figures with a career-best 13 points, while senior captain Katie Hilbig grabbed a season-high eight rebounds.
SCOUTING THE FALCONS...
Air Force enters Saturday's contest with an 0-8 overall record and 0-4 road mark following its loss to North Dakota on Tuesday.
Senior Alicia Leipprandt is the lone Falcon averaging in double figures scoring with 11.0 points per contest. Dymond James is the team's leading rebounder with 6.9 boards per game, while junior Cherae Medina leads the Falcons with 2.9 assists per game.
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS...
Denver enters this weekend with a 3-4 overall record on the season, including a 1-2 mark at home. The Pioneers are coming off a 74-51 road loss to Minnesota on Wednesday evening.
Morgan Van Riper-Rose is the leading scorer for Denver with 14.0 points per game, while Maiya Michel averages a team-best 6.3 rebounds per contest. Meanwhile, Emiko Smith leads the Pioneers in assists with 5.4 per game.
SIMONNE IN DOUBLE DIGITS...
Sophomore Simonne Potts, who has gradually increased her offensive output over the past three contests, reached double figures for the first time in her career on Tuesday, finishing with a team-high 13 points. Potts, who sat out her freshman year, also had career-high marks in both field goals made (6) and attempted (13) against North Dakota.
DYMO HITS 500...
With her five rebounds against North Dakota on Tuesday, senior co-captain Dymond James reached 500 rebounds for her career, becoming just the third player in the Academy's Division I history to achieve that mark. She now needs just 27 more rebounds to move into the Falcons' all-time top-10 rebounding list.
The Falcons have struggled with turnovers in their past three games; after committing 24 turnovers against Kansas City on Nov. 30, Air Force followed with a season-high 29 turnovers against San Diego on Dec. 1.
Meanwhile, the Falcons were charged with 27 turnovers against North Dakota on Tuesday, with North Dakota scoring 30 points off Air Force's miscues.
The Falcons play their final game before the winter break on Thursday, Dec. 13, when they host CSU Bakersfield in a 7:00 p.m. contest.
